Hanukka Lights from the Shalhevet (Abu-Sneneh) Hills: Overlooking Hebron, Ma'arat HaMachpela, The Avraham Avinu neighborhood, Beit Romano (Yeshivat Shavei Hevron) and Beit Hadassah, a huge Menorah lights ups the sky, a true example of "Persumei Nisa", publicizing the miracle of Hannuka in the city of Abraham, where some 2,200 years ago Judea the Maccabee destroyed any remnants of Greek rule. Today, the lights of the Maccabees again shine in Hebron. |
